  So let’s recap: In college, Craig James plays at SMU, which, after he leaves, ends up with the Death Penalty for recruiting violations that occurred while he was there (maybe even benefitted from).

  Now, as a father, he takes down a coach of another program over a dubious claim of abuse.

  June Jones is at his last stop. I also think a lot of coaches would think SMU is a better job then TT. As far as recruiting and being in Dallas/Ft. Worth as compared to Lubbock. June will turn SMU into a pretty solid program and someone will take it over in a few years and do just fine. ( and NO, I am not an SMU fan )

  Whoever mentioned it above about sports reporters/famous people at major media places hit the nail on the head. The first thing I thought of was how ticked you would be if you were another athlete at ESPN whose kid was a real good athlete. Craig James just took away some offers. What coach would ever want to have to deal with something like this.

  I bet Leach lands on his feet in a better job anyway. He is a heck of a coach and the more this drags on it appears he is the real victim here.
