Earlier this morning ‘30 Rock’ star Alec Baldwin was rushed to the hospital after someone called 911 and said he was “unresponsive.” The caller is believed to be his 14-year-old daughter, Ireland. Alec reportedly was released after being examined for more than an hour.

Alec’s rep says it was all a “misunderstanding.”

“‘This was a misunderstanding on one person’s part,” the star’s rep, Matthew Hiltzik, tells E! News. “Alec was quickly released from the hosptial, he’s completely fine and will be at work today.” [sic]

Scary! Alec must’ve really been out of it for him to have stayed unconscious long enough to actually be rushed to the hospital. I’m glad to hear he’s okay.

Update: Us Weekly is reporting that Alec and Ireland were arguing and Alec threatened to take pills. Us Weekly says a law enforcement official gave them this information.

Alec has said in the past that he’s considered suicide but wouldn’t do it because his ex-wife would consider that a “victory.”

I REALLY hope he wouldn’t put his daughter through something like that.
